Making Money with Your Website and Affiliated Advertising

Ok let's talk about making money with your web site.

First of all companies selling products or services want to reach their customers or potential customers to grow their business. This is basic marketing. Companies will market numerous way and innovative ways, but they are always looking for new cost effective angles of promotion.

As stated in the piece on "Resurgence of Advertising on the Web" in the Bannermadness articles pages text ads, banners and logos have been used for some time to advertising online. It faltered for a while, but its back, and it's big business. Last year over a half a million dollars has been paid out to websites with adSense text ads alone,.and wouldn't you like a piece of that? Well it's easy to get in the game.

What you need to get started

• First of all you need a web page. This site should have some content that presents some service, product, information, or interaction that brings end users (visitors to your site). This is important because the companies distributing the ads want to match content with ads. A good example is Goggle's adSense which actually scans the site and then automatically places the ads on the your web page

• Second you have to sign up with an affiliated ad company to become a partner. I'll give you some links to these companies at the end of the article

• Third fill out the series of forms so the companies disputing the ads can verify that your on the level. Oh by the way read the agreements your signing these document are, as I understand it, legally binding

• Now wait patiently. It takes about a week or two before you find out if your web site has been accepted or rejected. If your accepted your good to go. you can start putting ads up on your site

I would suggest that your on the up and up (honest) with your intentions other wise you'll be banned.
