Googles adSense (Put Ads on Your Website and Make Money)

Signing on to Googles adSense is a snap and allows you to make money with your website.

Google’s adSense advertisements are strictly text ads for now and you've probable seen them on several sites you've been to.

It works like this; you have to have a website that has content that brings a certain type of end user. In other word you can't tell adSense that your webpage is geared towards camping and then have a bunch of stuff that has dating services(unless it is about dating wilderness getaways). Once you have a site and you want get started go to the "adSense" link on the left of this page. When you get to the adSense "Discover Your Site's Full Revenue Potential" page hit the button "Click here to apply button. Fill out the application form and be honest. On the form is subjects like "Website Information", "Contact Information", "Product Selection", "Policies", "Login Information" and then click the "Submit Information" button.

You'll end up at the "This is the Account Information You Entered" page where you can check the info you submitted and edit it by hitting the "Edit Account Information" button which takes you back to the pervious application, or if your application is correct select the "Create Account" button.

Once you've created an account you'll be taken to the "Thank You for Your Interest in Google adSense" page that informs you adSense is checking out your site to see if it meets Google's polices. The processing period is about a week or two.

If your website is accepted then you’re given options to create piece of code that can be copy and pasted into your site. We'll cover the process of setting up the options in a later editorial.

Once the code is on your webpage ads will be automatically generated on your web page that matches the content of your website. It's that easy. No changing ads, no fuss, no muss.

If you want more information on what "adSense" is, how much you can make, or how do I sign up go to:

"What is Google adSense"

How much money you get for visitors to your site clicking on ads depends on the bids made by the companies/businesses submitting the ads. If you want to advertise with Google adWords or find out more information on how advertising with "adWords" works go to:

Sincerely Milton A Samis

Next month we'll talk about something a little less tutorial based.
